Mile26 Strategy Inc. is currently working on the following projects: 

Project Management

Mile26 Strategy Inc. successfully secured $1 million in government funding in 2006 to manage a regulatory project on behalf of the agricultural industry.    

This project involves managing the budget and workplan from start to finish, contracting and supervising the work of a dozen contractors and ensuring the work produced meets the needs of key stakeholders across the entire agricultural sector.

New business for Mile26 Strategy Inc. involves managing the launch of a new project on bio-fuels and ensuring support from industry, government and environmental groups.
 

Communications

With experience working as Director of Communications for federal ministers on high-profile issues such as bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) and avian influenza, the owner of Mile26 is ideally situated to advise and prepare clients on how best to use the communications vehicles available to effectively deliver their message and get their voice heard.

Government Relations

The owner of Mile26 Strategy Inc. , Carla Ventin, is a registered lobbyist for two industry associations in the areas of renewable fuels and regulations. 

Mile26 provides clients with a link to government policymakers, elected officials and political parties to further their business agenda.  Clients are advised on how to strategically navigate government and build coalitions with key players to achieve their organization’s objectives.
